Abengoa signs framework agreement with the National Autonomous University of Mexico

Abengoa, a company that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in the energy and environment sectors, recently signed a framework agreement with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

The new association will benefit both organizations with training programs and professional development. It will also give the opportunity of professional development for students, while employees will benefit from training and academic upgrades. The institutions will also monitor areas of mutual interest aiming to perform research and development.

The signing ceremony, which was held in the emblematic building of the university rectory, was attended by Juan Manuel Romero Ortega, Innovation and Development Coordinator of the UNAM, and Joaquin Fernandez de Pierola, CEO of Abengoa Mexico.

UNAM is a Mexican public university with over 340,000 students, the country's and Latin America's largest university.
